Special Delivery!

Hey Everyone!
So, I'm sure you all know this, but just in case you don't...
One of the most awesome-est parts about being a college student is getting mail!^_^!
When I get mail, it all gets collected into my mail box:

In order to open it, I have to turn the dial to enter my shnazzy, secret code...Shhh! ;)

Then, I get to open it and see who sent me letters!
None today, but there is something else in there!^_^!
W
hen I see this slip of paper:

I know that someone totally amazing sent me a package!!!
Then I feel all excited and special...which is a pretty legit experience if you ask me ;)

So then I have to go to the office and ask them to help me get said package (or packages!)
O.O
WOW! I really do have a package!^_^!

After that, I rush to bring said package (or packages) up to my dorm while glowing with delight:

Now that I'm in my room, I can finally open my treasure!

Gaahh! It won't open!

Oh right...There's a pull-thingy...

Yes! So much easier!

Awesome!
My new planner and wall calendar are here!

Sweetness! (See my look of pure joy?)

Mr. & Mrs. Hadley sent me the Amazon gift card to get my planner and wall calendar, and my Mom ordered them for me :)
So I sent out thank you emails to both of them...

That's one of my guarantees for anyone who sends me packages...
I will send you a "Thank You!" email as soon as Courtney-ly possible! ;)
(I might even call you too!)
So yeah, that's the whole process on my end...
I'm hoping to take & post pictures each time I get mail from someone...
So keep an eye on my blog if you've sent me anything! ;)

  1. I think that one of the neatest parts about going to a brick and mortar college is be the cool mailbox you get! Do you have to figure out how to open it again every time?

  2. Haha yeah I do actually :P
It's a little weird, the whole letters & dial part, but I I'm definitely beginning to get the hang of it :)

    Same here Johanna!

They're actually a bit smaller than I expected, but they're really nice! (and fairly inexpensive too!)
