*Courtney looks up at the title and sighs happily. Reader walks over to her; reads title as well; does a double-take; and looks over at Courtney in shock*

Reader: What!?! What do you mean “Courtney in California”??

Courtney: Haha! Just that of course…I’m going to be on a plane to Pasadena, California about this time next Friday...

Reader: Wow…! Umm…Dare I ask “Why?”…

Courtney: Well, actually, I’m planning to attend a college there…

Reader: What?? You?? College?? You're the last person I know who would want to go to an actual college! And California?? When did all of this happen!?!

Courtney: Haha! That’s been my response too!

Reader: …Aaannnddd??

Courtney: Oh right…Yes me, yes college, yes I know, and yes California…But I don’t believe those were quite the answers you were looking for…

Reader: HARDLY!

Courtney: Okay, let me explain the whole situation a bit…Might not be perfect, but I’ll try…Would that help?

Reader: Yes! Please Do! I am so confused and extremely curious…Not to mention the fact that is all so very sudden!

Courtney: Oh trust me! I know! Just a week ago, which, for today, is Thursday, August 4^th, 2011, I had only heard about this particular college once before, from what I can remember, and I’d written it off once I noticed that it was all the way in California…

Reader: Wow, okay…Well, would you please try your best to share your story? I know it all must be a whirlwind by now…Less than 7 days by your watch and it’s not even over yet!

Courtney: Haha I know! It’s all sooo bizarre! And I’ve actually begun to refer to this whole experience as a “whirlwind.” It’s a great illustration…

Reader: I bet! Trying to scramble all over the place to fit what most people do in a year or so into a few days! *Whew*! You and your Mom must be exhausted!

Courtney: Haha! You’ve got that right!

Reader: Well, please, tell me as much as you can! I’d love to hear all about it!

Courtney: Okay, I’ll do my best…I'm going to need a bit to figure how to best explain everything, but I'll give it a shot...Let’s see how this goes…
