Man Up Tour In LA! 10-21-11

So exactly this time last week, a group of my fellow Providence students and I went to the *Man Up* Tour  event at the Palladium in Hollywood, California on Sunset Blvd.

Was
BEYOND

AmAzInG!!!

Because our group went in 2 shifts, one at 2pm and one at around 3:30pm, we were the 2nd group from the front of the line!
Buuut that also meant we had to wait in the bitter, freezing cold for nearly 4 hours!
It was definitely worth it though...The line behind us went around the corner and down for about another block or two...or more!

Well...It was "Bitter, freezing cold" according to me that is...Which means it probably wasn't too bad for normal people ;) 

...And yes...I was extremely silly and didn't think to bring a sweatshirt...
What?...It was warm and sunny out when we left! Why would I have even thought about it??

While we were waiting, we did our best to ignore the tempting smell of the hot dogs wrapped in bacon and peppers and onions that were being fried on two nearby push carts...
They wanted 5 dollars for one!
Meanies...
;)

Then, to our surprise and excitement, one of the artists, C-Lite, came out and started shaking hands and talking with people in the line across from us!
So my friend's younger sister and I rushed over and asked for a picture with him...
He was on the other side of the fence, so when the picture was taken, he posed like he was behind bars...
Haha!

I'd explain it all even more, but I have to go and start cleaning up my desk area and organize my school for the upcoming week...
(Yes, I'm still slowly unpacking from the Kansas Gathering 3 weeks ago...Life's been insane!)

Luckily, I'm good buddies with my friend Pandora, so I'm dancing, I mean cleaning, to some epic music...

Oh! I forgot to mention...
Because of my Concentrated Awesomeness (aka: Tiny-size) I was able to weave my way from about 5-6 people away from the gate to only 1-2 people...!!!!
You can tell how close I was by the pictures and videos...

Oh yeah and Lecrae jumped into the video/photo space in-between the stage and the gate during one of the songs...Right next to where I was standing!!!
So I might've, kinda, maybe touched him...Actually, I really, seriously did touch his arm...
Semi-"On Accident" because I was like, pushed against other people as everyone tried to get over to him!!

It was an epic night finished off with a long, but well worth it, walk to Chick-fil-a for a late-night snack...
Christian Rap/Hip-Hop AND waffle fries with Chick-fil-a Sauce!?!
Could Life Get Any Better!?!?!?!
